3.4 The temporary works implementation plan
3.4.1
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, regulation 12(1) and 12(2),
requires the Principal Contractor, with more than one contractor on a project, or the
contractor, must draw up a construction phase plan that sets out the health and safety
arrangements for a construction project.
3.4.2
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, regulation15(3)(b) requires the
Contractor to comply with the parts of the construction phase plan applicable to them.
3.4.3
In addition, L153 Appendix 5 page 84 provides a summary of how the different types of
information relate to and influence each other on a construction project where more than one
contractor is involved. This is illustrated as follows.
