The following temporary works register example identifies who issues the temporary works
permit and who carries out the final inspection prior to bringing into use.
BS 5975-1:2024
clause 11.3(e)(h) identifies the temporary works supervisor (TWS) should carry out checks at
appropriate stages and the final check. However, for complex or innovative designs, BS 59751:2024 clause 13.1.8 states this could be the temporary works designer (TWD).
